Gardening For Everyone

We are fasr approaching  our 140th Anniversary  in 4 years time , We will be planning how to mark this  soon,

We are a friendly group of enthusiastic gardeners willing to share our knowledge of all things green.

We are proud of our commitment and longstanding community involvement, with groups, schools, allotments and South East in Bloom. Last year the Town achieved  Gold status along with Muster Green and Western Road Cemetery. The Town was also chosen as 1 of 6 Large Towns in Britain in Bloom 2024 and we were awarded  Gold an amazing achievement.

There is nothing more satisfying than growing and eating fresh produce. Sharing plants is a great way to fill your garden. Come and learn more with us.

Getting together on the 3rd Thursday of the months between September - May with our Speakers for illustrated talks and demonstrations.

We host three shows throughout the year (Spring, Summer and Autumn) which take place on Saturdays. They are full of colour and include entries of seasonal flowers, fruit, vegetables, floral art, handicraft, cookery and photography. The produce is from gardens and allotments around the town.

Our Talks and 2 Shows take place at: St Wilfrid's Centenary Hall, St Wilfrid's Way, Haywards Heath, RH16 3QH

We take part in the town council's Spring into Summer Festival, Summer Show in the Orchard Centre and other events .

Our stalls have plants and a variety of crafts created by our members and we offer free garden advice.
